Three times now we have sent a pro-independence majority to Westminster, at least twice we’ve sent a pro-independence majority to Holyrood. The people of Scotland want the right to choose, and I think it’s the weakness of the unionist argument that the best thing they can say is „we’re not going to let you decide.“ I don’t mind if people want to campaign for the union if they can think of something good to say about it. But if the best thing they can think to say is „we’re not going to let you have the vote,“ that means they think they’re going to lose.
